Power Pole Installation and Replacement – What We Do

Total Electrical and Maintenance provides all private power pole installation and replacement for electricity connection to your premises.

The private poles are usually galvanised steel or timber. Steel is susceptible to rusting due to ground moisture stripping away the protective coating, and timber poles are prone to termite infestations despite lasting longer than steel poles.

Your pole might need replacement in the event that:

• The pole is rotting
• The pole is leaning to a particular side
• The pole may have termites
• The pole has substantial cracks in it
• The Pole displays signs of storm damage
• the pole is rusted
• the pole has been defected by Ausgrid/Endeavour Energy

On occasion the pole may have to be moved to another position so that it complies with Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy Rules.  At Total Electrical and Maintenance we have an auger that allows us to dig the holes expeditiously resulting in lower costs to the customer for the new installation.
